Do you have old or unwanted household products such as paint, cleaners and pesticides lying around your house or shed?
 
The Paintback™ collection service at Bunnings Warehouse Vermont South has closed. The nearest point to take your unwanted paint is the Monash Transfer and Recycling Station.

You can also drop off your unwanted paint at six 'Detox Your Home' permanent sites across Melbourne. These sites will expand into regional Victoria in 2007/08.
 
Permanent Detox Your Home facilities
 
Department of Sustainability are working in partnership with councils to provide a number of permanent drop off facilities which will accept paint, motor oil, batteries and gas cylinders only. Permanent facilities do not accept the full range of chemicals that are accepted at collection events.

What can I do to Detox My Home?
 
You can take all household substances to a Detox Your Home collection. All containers should be 20 litres or less. They do not accept: farm, industrial and commercial-use chemicals, asbestos, ammunition or flares.
