Growing future in debt prevention services

When the local economy slows, business owners are often forced to change procedures and/or seek external assistance to gain greater control over their cash flow, which is why local credit management and debt collection experts, Barwon Credit Management, has seen an increase in demand for their services recently.

Director, Carl Jones said, ‘We have responded to changing market conditions. Clients want and need to be more proactive in managing debt, so we have developed a range of new services focused on debt prevention whilst continuing to provide traditional debt collection services.  Most small business owners have never been educated about, or sought advice on, the smart things they can do to prevent problems before they begin, like having specifically worded terms and conditions, or, undertaking searches to confirm who they are actually entering into business with.

Mr Jones explains, ‘Having a professional review to tighten up their policies and procedures can make all the difference.’

Mr Jones has seen a lot of change lately.  ‘Not only for our clients, but also for ourselves with the recent establishment of the Great Southern Credit Management group. As we are assisting a greater number of clients Australia-wide, and have introduced new services, we thought now was a good time to launch our new look and website. This is an exciting time for us,’ said Mr Jones.

‘Our new look and group name better reflects the group’s main client base in the southern half of Australia, but also our ability to service clients and collect debts Australia-wide, said Mr Jones.  Great Southern Credit Management also has member offices in Warrnambool and Adelaide.

Mr Jones explains, ‘The new services we are now offering are a result of the collaboration between each of our three offices.  Working together, we offer our clients greater knowledge, experience and access to additional resources.’

‘An increasing number of our clients are operating further afield and our multiple office locations make it easy to provide the local knowledge that’s often so important in credit management and debt collection,’ said Mr Jones.

To celebrate the launch of its new look and new services, Barwon Credit Management are offering new and existing clients a free 30 minute consultation with a debt recovery specialist.  Simply call the office on 5246 5444 to arrange your free consultation.
